Although for purposes of this blog I used Ahrefs as the software to see what our link profile is. There are many platforms out there that you can use. Most of them are paid and can run anywhere from $100-$300 a month. If you want a free tool I suggest you connect your website with Google Search Console.

Google Search Console will show you an easy to understand set up of all the external and internal links you have to your website. It is also important to know that not one tool is 100% accurate when doing link analysis. There will always be backlinks that might take a little longer to index (possibly months).

Very similar to Google My Business. Online directories are used my thousands of people to find niche or geo-targeted services. Some online directories are made for specific industries such as contractors, doctors, and freelancers. The benefit from using online directories are that you can easily add more exposure to your brand while getting (most of the time) a backlink from the directory. We suggest you try to add your business to 60-90 directories pointing back to your website. Significantly increasing your exposure.
